Post subject: Firstspot destroyed my Active Directory

A tech installed the firstspot software on a windows 2003 PDC. The software apparently when into DNS, Actiive directory and renamed my servers from Servername.clienentdomain.local to Servername.firstspot.org

This has more or less destroyed the functionality of the server.
Eight hours later Microsoft Tech support is still trying to put the pieces back together.

The tech that installed this software feels terrible about this as the organization has lost a full days work. The question I have is, was there any documentation that says this program should NOT be installed on a domain controller?

Have other users run into this problem and is there a fix for this issue?

Is there any documention on how or why firstspot.org changed my domain structure?

Please help and please respond
