I have gone to the configuration tab and check the box to allow public administration. I have added a secondary user and administered rights for that user to access and administer the Configuration Manager. I tried then to login from the outside or public network and I am getting an error 403 from Apache that says I do not have permissions to access this server. Is this a problem with FirstSpot or with Windows? |

Try to restart FirstSpot to have the new setting take into effect. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

I did restart FirstSpot and Apache but I am getting the same 403 error. I did look in the Apache error log and it says in the log "directory index forbidden by rule c:\program files\firstspot". Is the demo crippled in any way? |

The demo should work.
Note that you need to access port 5787. E.g. http://192.168.0.34:5787 where 192.168.0.34 is the IP of the Public Network Interface. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

That did it. I could not find any information on the port number in the documentation. I was attempting to gain access from port 80. When I changed to port 5787 I got in first try. Thanks for the help. |
