1) How do you get the client's mac behind the router, are you using snmp for this?
2) Wath happens if a user clons an ip? Two macs with the same ip?

If you there is a router between the client and FirstSpot, FirstSpot cannot "see" the MAC of the client (since MAC is a level 2 header).
