I have succesfully installed firstspot 3.12

have set up a shopping cart item for 1 day, and when I try and buy this, it all seems ok - goes to paypal, takes the payment, puts it in my account etc - but the IPN never seems to be recieved so FirstSpot doesn't credit the account with 60 minutes and when the user looks at their payment history, under Payment Status it says "Unknown Yet".

When I check logs on Apache it shows following:

What is the exact location of your ppal_ipn.php file?

What is in the "publicly assessible URL to receive transaction update from payapl" under credit card tab?

Did you follow the instruction of setting up paypal in firstspot_guide.pdf chapter 7, especially the ipn settings?
