|
|
Hello I have installed FirstSpot to administer my hotspot and it works
quite well overall but there seems to be one significant problem:
When a user starts a new account (self sign-up), he is referred to the
shopping cart, but upon checkout, the connection to PayPal will fail.
(IE gives a "DNS or server not found" message, Mozilla says that "the
connection has terminated unexpectedly, some data may have been
transferred").
If a user already has established airtime and is logged on, everything
works fine and he can go the the shopping cart to buy more airtime. But
if an exisitng user allows his airtime to expire, then he will also have
this difficulty in accessing PayPal.
I have included paypal.com in the exception-free websites but it doesn't seem to matter.
On some occasions it will work OK, but even when it does, the PayPal
page seems to load very slowly.
Can you please offer me any help or suggestions with this? I am running
version 3.1.2 with standard version license |

Few things to check
1) Can your client access to http://www.paypal.com directly without logging? If so , try to do the self-signup process again, and see if you can be redirected to paypal this time.
2) Have you modified any of the following files: cart.php, paypal_submit.php, ppal_ipn.php
3) If the problem still cannot be solved, please post your AllowedHostsIps.txt and AllowedHostsKeywords.txt under firstspot directory. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
