We're interested in Firstspot but is really important that no client software will be installed. How can Firstspot redirect the browser's home page?
Do you have any suggestions on how to configure in a secure way the wireless access point with Firstspot?
Many thanks

Client machines do not need any client software installed in order to use FirstSpot. They open their web browers, type in an URL, FirstSpot will then stop them and ask for authentication. They enter their username/password in a the login (web) page before being able to surf.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by configuring wireless AP in a secure way with FirstSpot. Please elaborate more. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Yes.
By the way, please do a search through this forum; you will find many of your questions may have already been discussed and answered before. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

OK,
last questions, I saw that as system requirements you ask for 2 NIC, will this pc act as a router before the dsl router? Or is it simply in a DMZ zone?
Thanks? |
