Hello
I 'm looking hotspot gateway management software to implement at my faculty and I like you software its easy to config. But our wireless lan policy we want to control only registered mac address can pass the gateway. Is it possible now or in the "near" future to allow only registered MAC address can pass the gateway?
thank you

Thank you for your input.
FirstSpot currently only checks the username/password and there is no concept of "registered MAC". However as a workaround, you can take advantage of the "Static DHCP Mode". In this mode, FirstSpot DHCP server will only give out IP for a list of pre-defined MAC addresses. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
