Our business is interested in setting up a hotspot for it's customers. However, we are newbies but am hoping we can figure this out!
I'm mainly interested in a self-service system but would entertain something less to start with.
To use the Start Edition, would our service rep need to review their usage and bill AFTER they used the service?
Would the Standard Edition support 100% self-service?
Our server runs Windows Small Business Server 2003. Would FirstSpot run on this operating system? Is SQL only needed for the Standard Edition and higher?
Thank you. |

1) FirstSpot does support self-service. You can take advantage of the self sign-up feature
2) Yes, FirstSpot runs on Windows 2003. FirstSpot comes bundle with its own default dbf ODBC datasource, SQL server or MySQL is optional.
See http://www.patronsoft.com/firstspot/editions.html for comparision among different FirstSpot editions. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
