|
|
Hi,
Scenario:
- a user has a download quota (fsusr.bwquota) of 10MB
- the user tries to surf and is authenticated successfully
- a First Spot administrator sets the user's download quota to 30MB using the Configuration Manager
- the user tries to download a 20MB file
Result:
- the server closes the TCP session after 10MB of the file is downloaded
- the user is disconnected from First Spot
- 10MB is added to the user's download history (fsusr.accumbw)
The user needs to attempt the download again, and re-authenticate at the hotspot login. Thus, it is not possible to give a user more download quota while they are logged.
For our business, this is a serious problem. Is it something that can be corrected?
Regards,
Derek |
