Hi out there. Is it possible to restrict user access to internet through TCP/UDP ports? Please describe ways of restricting web content.
Thanks,

There are 2 options:
1) You can block the ports in the router behind Firstspot, i.e.
Client -> FirstSpot -> Router (block it here) -> Internet
A lot of the routers including the low-end ones can block by ports.
2) You can use Windows TCP/IP filtering. In theory it should work, though we are doing some compatability testing at this moment. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Looks like Windows TCP/IP filtering only works with inbound connection with destination IP as FirstSpot itself. In other words, it probably won't work for your case.
So option 1 seems to be your best bet. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
