Post subject: Google is accessible without authorisation.

Hey there,

Not sure if this is a bug, I'm using the trial version of Firstspot, however, I noticed that Google.co.uk is accessible without the user being authorised, every other website isn't accessible including google.com.

I have checked and made sure that nothing is in the exceptions list in both the configuation panel and text file but I still encounter this issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Strange. We need to double-check.

What client device and browser you used to test FirstSpot?

Okay, we locate your problem. Please go to the file AllowedHostsKeywords_official.txt under FirstSpot directory, comment out (put a ; in front) the following domain names:

addons.mozilla.org
gstatic.com
ssl.gstatic.com

and then restart FirstSpot.

Forget what I said.
I was applying these settings to the text file that came with the setup files.

I have now applied this to the text file located under Firstspot in Program Files and can confirm the issue has been fixed.

Thank you very much for your help! Smile
