Post subject: restartFSRedirector: Fail to lookup IP Address

Hi,

I am trialing FirstSpot software to see if it will suit our needs. I will be testing within 2 private networks which don't have internet access. Because of this, I can't start the FirstSpot proccess because the DNS lookup fails.

restartFSRedirector: Fail to lookup IP Address using DNS Server

Can you tell me how to skip this check so the process will start?

Thanks.

There is no easy to skip this check. We need to double-check.

But the point is if you don't have DNS working, the client can't even access a normal website like yahoo.com. It is hard to complete the test this way.

OK thanks for your reply. In my case I am testing within inside networks and the client does not have access to internet anyway. But does not matter now, I have worked around the test by allowing the FirstSpot server talk to an DNS that has access to the outside.
