Hi
I would like to implement a pre-paid/billing internet access system running firstspot on a windows server 2003 box through which the users logon/authenticate. I would like to know what MS licensing I require . I know this is more of a Microsoft issue, but think you guys have experience with this exact issue. Do I need any licensing? It will be craze if I require a CAL for every user that buys a $5 internet voucher... I see there is a external connector license. Would it be suffient, or doe I need something else?
Regards

FirstSpot does not use any of the user login system or active directory in Windows. So no Windows CAL is needed. In fact, FirstSpot also runs on Windows 2000 Professional and XP (which does not have a CAL option at all) _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
