Post subject: Getting web page without being redirected to FirstSpot login

I've installed trial version of FirstSpot v7 in my Windows 7 PC, connected the Cisco Linksys Access point's WAN port to the 2nd NIC of the PC.
I tried to access the web in two ways.
(1) I connected a Windows XP Laptop to the Access Points's one of LAN ports and able to browse the internet except
Google Image, Google Groups's http trafic is not monitored by the FirstSpot.
(2) I connected a hand held device to Access point through Wi-Fi but in this setup
the browser is getting any web page without being redirected to http://firstspot.org login page.

Could please help me to resolve this issue.

1) This is normal as google.com is in the Exception Free Websites list. To change that, simply remove google.com from Exception Free Websites (domain name), and then restart FirstSpot.

2) Most likely your handheld is having another path to reach the Internet through Wi-Fi. Please make sure that your AP is really acts a bridge instead of router (WAN port of your AP should not be used. Refer to chapter 2 of firstspot_guide.pdf). Also, double-check that you attach to the correct AP's SSID.
