Hi,
I am using a file sharing program called Lanshark to share media from a hard drive on the server running firstspot. It is a browser based system so that any client can access the files. My problem is that when they access the server to view the files(server IP and port) that it counts against their allowed bandwidth quota. This quickly lowers their quota even though it wasn't from the outside network. It is also limited to the bandwidth throttling set per account. Is there anyway to allow the clients to connect to a the servers IP without using their quotas or bandwidth throttling? |

One way is to put your file sharing program listens to Visitor Network Interface IP (we call it local content), as it won't enforce Bandwidth Throttling and Data Transfer Quota. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
