Post subject: ->Strange problems using repeaters.

Hello,

We are facing problems installing two repeaters on our network and we would like to hear from you all, your experience on that using firstspot.

Currently, we are using Firstspot v.6.0.5 advanced version and we are using the following network configuration:

Server
Internet---->FirstSpot v.6.0.5 -------repeater 1-------->repeater2--the most distant user.

After the repeater 1 , users are being able to connect to the internet without authenticating by the firstspot. The repeaters are working as a brigde on universal repeater mode and firstspot has already been configured with the session control setting as "IP Based" as recommended on the manuals for this situation.

If someone has ever experienced this problem ,tell me how you solved it.

Regards,
Renato

Maybe there is a NAT between the client and FirstSpot? Or there is another route for the client to reach Internet? Note that FirstSpot recognize the client by IP only (for IP-based Session Handling).

Also, please upgrade to latest v6 as there are some stability problems in v6.0.5.

BTW, any new projects you are currently working on?
