Anyone know what setting I would enable for this? I upgraded this morning to v6 and although some iPhone users can connect the iPad don't seem to be able to. |

They get the connection page and enter their credentials and hit OK, then a blank white screen. It never actually connects or gest through the login process.
They were able to connect before the upgrade. |

This is strange. Please modify the uaToken.csv file under FirstSpot directory. Change:
Mobile,m
to
Mobile,d
and then try again. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

That file doesn't seem to exist. Is it something that gets created from another setting? |

The uaToken.csv file should be available for all v6 installation. It is under the FirstSpot directory. Also, please sure you unhide the file extension. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

this will teach me to go on anothers word.
the version we have is actually 5.1.6...in case that makes a difference. It was purchased a year ago, and finally installed the other day.
There is no ustoken.csv file contained in this firstspot directory (root level). |

Is it possible you test this case under v6? You can just use the trial version. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

You need another machine for that. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

I'm kind of limited on my resources here, so testing the newer version although desirable is not a real option at this time.
It seems as if the iphone and ipad are hanging the certification accept portion....Is there anything I need to do with your certificate? |

Have you turned on FirstSpot's "SSL-enabled login pages" option (under Authentication Server)? There shouldn't a need to accept the certificate unless the login page is SSL-enabled.
Also, you mentioned that iPad works previously. What was the previous FirstSpot version? _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

I turned off the ssl option and it now works for the apple products.
The previous version was 3.1, it had the ssl enabled and apple products connected.
but looks like things are going going now. |

In that case, I still suggest you to upgrade to v6 at least as a test. Since v6 supports domain name based login URL, your certificate can be tied to (i.e. signed as) the domain name instead of IP. Apple (and other client) will not need to accept any certificate since it is already trusted by the client by default. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
