Tech guys:
Recently some somes are coming through without being redirected to the login screen. I noticed that sears.ca, futureshop.ca and a lot of other .ca sites are doing this as well yet they're not on the exception free list.
I have version 5 running at the moment.
Any ideas as to why this is happening? |

Couple of things to check:
1) maybe the client browser is using the cache. Clear the cache and try again
2) make sure the client browser is not using proxy.
BTW, do you plan to upgrade to the latest v6? FirstSpot v6 contains many new features, and one of the feature we want to highlight is In-Browser Message which gives hotspot operators a much better way to communicate with the clients. Feel free to check out http://patronsoft.com/firstspot for more information about the latest version. To upgrade, please visit http://patronsoft.com/firstspot/buy_now_2.html . Thank you in advance. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Alan:
After a credit card transaction the minutes for the plan are applied (or an expiry date appears) just like it should but the minutes are doubled. I tried making up 3 plans but every time minutes are purchased it provides twice as many minutes (or days etc.)
eg: Test Plan (15 minutes) purchased at 7:40
Info box reads: Account expires at 7:55 pm and indeed expires at 7:55
it even gives a ten minute warning.....
any ideas?

forget it....Once I did a reboot it all is well.
On another note however, I asked FS to add minutes to the account if the client purchases additional minutes but the infobox doesn't update ... it just keeps counting down without the new value.
hmmmm...... |
