Post subject: licence key file invalid after reinstallation of Windows

Hello,

a few weeks ago i asked for the latest build of V5.

I mailed alan the licence.key file of our customer and he send me the link to download the build v5.1.7.

Now the time has come to reinstall the server. For this short period our custumer needs a replacement. So I set up an other PC with Server 2003 and Firstspot. I paste the licence.key file and tryed to start firstspot. I got the error message: licence key file is invalid.

What can be the problem here?

Thanks

Oh, I just saw that the MAC-adress of the private network adapter is attributed to the licence. So it isn't possible to install firstspot with the old licence to an other system with other network adapters?

What happens if the network adapter stops working and I have to replace it?

Is there any possibility to get a system with a temporary limited version with full functionality? Our customer is a hotel. It's not realy possible to set up a PC with a trial Licence for this time (only 5 Users can be online on same time).

Thats realy a Problem for us.

Thanks
