Is there a way to add bulk MAC addresses to the black list? Like to do a cut and paste not one at a time. Can it be changed somewhere in a config file? I have to add about 200 MAC addresses. |

Yes, you can add them under the [ACL] section of config.ini. Try to add a couple of them through the Configuration Manager UI and just follow the format. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

I added about 12 of them but ACL shows the following.
ACL
num_acl=0
There seems to be 12 under mac_filter but it shows it in a numbers format.
[mac_filter]
mac_count=11
mac_0=225665636566528
mac_1=175306608150016
mac_2=4543232
mac_3=98217913161216
mac_4=200759939571456
mac_5=181032002723328
mac_6=85881717331456
mac_7=247738413685760
mac_8=216520146951424
mac_9=43876481697280
mac_10=250566146333696
mac_11=168884986026393 |

My mistake. The section should be [mac_filter] instead.
The conversion rules are:
1) reverse the MAC address sequence
2) change from hexadecimal to decimal.
E.g. 00-11-22-33-AA-FF -> FFAA33221100 -> 281106467393792
Also, make sure you restart FirstSpot after making any changes in the config.ini (no need to restart if you change the Client Filter -> Black List within Configuration Manager). _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
