Hi everyone from Spain!!!
We have buy the FirstSpot Advanced edition and we have a little problem.
How I block a list of URLs?, I try to block some sites like porn Web's, ilegal contents Web's and similar sites.
I don't find the option in the program to do that.
I find the Block IP, I supposed that it let's me to block IP's on the Net (loock for the IP of the web and block it) but is possible to block URL writing the name of the Web and make a list of Web's.
Thanks so much for your support!!! |

Thanks, i've tried to do with router + internet service of web filtering like opendns.
I've read this forum over 6 hours and my conclusion for effectiveness is like a:
AP--->Firstspot--->Router (with web filtering)---> Internet (but under web filering by opendns)
I think it's a good and efective solution.
Another 2 Questions to increment the security in Local:
1) Can I install in the same PC the ZoneAlarm + Firstspot?
2) I tried to hide (on local network) the Server (PC with firstspot) and the Router. How can I do that?
Thanks so much!!! |

1) Not recommended. See http://patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1084
2) You can use FirstSpot feature "IP Block List". Refer to chapter 3 of firstspot_guide.pdf for details. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
