|
|
Hello,
The logout keyword spits out this information when i want to logout:
FirstSpot has disconnected you from the Internet. Please login again to continue (press F5 to refresh this infobox).
Why does this message come on?
Also, i discovered that if i use the logout keyword in the same browser type i used to login (e.g. Internet Explorer), the logout keyword works perfectly but it doesn't when i use it on another browser type. Rather it shows the message:
FirstSpot has disconnected you from the Internet. Please login again to continue (press F5 to refresh this infobox).
Please how can i rectify this issue? Please reply ASAP _________________ Ok, gongo aso |

What browser do you have problem?
As a workaround, you can try to type "logout.firstspot.org". _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

It happened on all types of browsers except on the login browser (the browser type from which i logged in).
But then, i want to be able to log out, having logged in, from any browser. _________________ Ok, gongo aso |

The message "FirstSpot has disconnected you from the Internet. Please login again to continue (press F5 to refresh this infobox)" should only appear in InfoBox.
Can you install another "clean" FirstSpot (in another network segment) and test Instant Keywords again? I suspect the PHP may have be changed. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

hmmm...about installing a clean firstspot, i'll take that option later. in the meantime, i also discovered that when i disconnect a user from the Configuration Manager (at the Status section where i see everybody browsing online), the user no more appears in the Status section as online and i suppose he's disconnected. but then, the user can still browse on his system even though i have forced him out from my config manager. what could be responsible for this? i guess this is a bug
my session handling is set to ip based. _________________ Ok, gongo aso |

Maybe the client's traffic does not go through FirstSpot. You can use "tracert" to double-check... _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Can you reproduce your problem in a "clean" FirstSpot environment?
Just install a FirstSpot using trial version and keep every setting default (don't change the default datasource), and try to reproduce the problem. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
