Post subject: PatronSoft services will not start automatically on Vista |

| I have set the "PatronSoft FirstSpot Dispatcher" service startup type to "Automatic". When I reboot the computer the event log shows the Dispatcher service entering the running state but none of the other services (DHCP, Redirector, Bind, etc.) get started. |

First, even the status for "PatronSoft FirstSpot Dispatcher" is "started", FirstSpot might still be starting. The best way to check the starting progress is to view the log file firstspot_gw_srv_[timestamp].log under FirstSpot\log directory. You can see the string "Service: FirstSpot starts successfully" after FirstSpot is completely started.
If you still have problem, you can change the Windows service Startup Type to "Automatic (Delayed Start)" [only available in Vista] to see whether the situation improves.
