You can go to Configuration Manager -> UI Customization -> click Show/Hide default language content -> edit Greeting message or Additional message for anonymous option
For deeper customization, you can edit the file alogin_form.php directly. Refer to chapter 5 of firstspot_guide.pdf for details.
