Post subject: User Management

Is it possible to expose only the "Users" section of the Configuration Manager to persons designated to managing users and hide the balance of the Configuration Manager?
Essentially, I am looking to provide employees who are only responsible for managing users with a simple, easy to use interface for that function only. I do not want to give them the ability to change any other settings in the Configuration Manager.

Write it yourself!! I did it. 4 hours of work.

You can create a new virtual in Apache on a different port, write your own PHP app which talks to the database and make a simple user management interface.

Simple and total control.

Hi PatronSoft!

Have you looked at the code? I know it's quick and dirty, but do you think it's useful? Is it worth publishing in on the forum or adding it to the next release of FirstSpot?

I think it's a great idea.

We are still evaluating whether to include this kind of user management feature in v3.

Sure you can post your code in the forum. Just keep in mind that we are unable to support user-enhancement.
