Post subject: Routing remote locations with Centralized Network Topology

What i'm wondering is if its possible to have a central location with a firstspot server, T1 and data source but have remote clients at cafes connecting to the internet via the cafe's cable modem but authenticated and charged through our central firstspot server. This would save time and money instead of bridging our T1 via 5GHz wireless to every cafe. Is it possible? I could make a diagram in Visio if more info is needed. I was thinking of using a VPN but that involves addtional costly devices and a potentially unreliable link not to mention some lag. Thanks for any help, this is the best hotspot software I have found on the net!

You "remote clients" need to make sure all the traffic go through FirstSpot first before reaching the Internet at large. Somehow FirstSpot needs to be in the path to perform the authentication.

(Note that the return traffic can by-pass FirstSpot. The setup will be a bit more complicated though)
