|
|
My client wants to connect two offices. We have followed(continued) the steps that you have indicated in another post of this forum, such as:
- Disable FirstSpot NAT
- To add the route of return
Our configuration is the following one:
CLOUD
(G/W:190.36.212.165) (Office Client)
|
|
|
|
(WAN IP: 201.243.11.165)
Linksys Router RV016 LOAD BALANCED
(LAN IP: 172.16.1.1)
|
|
|
|
(PUB IP: 172.16.1.4)
FirstSpot Server
(PRI IP: 192.168.1.0)
|
|
|
|
(IP: 192.168.1.xxx (DHCP Microsoft SERVER))
Office (Client)
While the client does not connect to the VPN everything it works perfectly.
When the client wants to connect for VPN from your office up to another office, then ihe loses Connection.
If we apply Disable FirstSpot NAT And we write the return in the RV016 linksys Router LOAD BALANCED Of the following way:
Destination: 192.168.1.0
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 172.16.1.4
Metric: 2
The FirstSpot at the time only allows to place the USER and PASSWORD in the website of authentication But, after be authenticating the user loses totally the connection to Internet. In other words, if we do PING YAHOO.ES they do not answer. And if we apply TRACERT ABANETCA.NET only it(he,she) comes even them following:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrador>tracert abanetca.net
Traza a la dirección abanetca.net [74.52.89.210]
sobre un máximo de 30 saltos:
1 1 ms 1 ms 1 ms firstspot.org [192.168.1.1]

We do not deal because not this one working the return of the router.
We ask, please, to help with this disadvantage of access VPN since it is a company who us requesting this one and we apparently cannot solve it.
Sincerely

Please, answer to our request. It(he,she) is of URGENT character.
If we cannot make the client that the VPN works he(she) moves back(retires) from our service. _________________ Sincerely

It is likely you have a routing issue. Note that if you disable NAT within FirstSpot, you need to setup a return route in your next-hop router.
Apart from that, it is a bit hard for us to solve your problem. You probably need to have a networking people to take a look at your network closely. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
