Hi
I am using microsoft DHCP but every time the firstspot dispatcher service starts it stops the MS DHCP service. The firstspot DHCP is disabled in the firstspot manager. Also the MS DHCP service keeps changing to manual from automatic when firstspot starts. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I think you are using v2, right?
This might be due to an old behavior for FirstSpot DHCP server. The workaround is to use FirstSpot "post-startup batch file" feature to correct it. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

When I specify this setting ie c:\start.bat . Once I click save it is saved as c:\\start.bat and the batch file does not run. Any help please ? Firstspot version 2.17 _________________ David Beadle

Well, the double backslash problem is a really old v2 issue. But it shouldn't affect FirstSpot to run the batch file. Please double-check your FirstSpot setting and the batch file content. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
