We are running FirstSpot v4 (beta).
Is it possible to run this with PHP5? I installed php5 on my machine and FirstSpot complains with multiple errors.
Is future support planned? What about MySQL 5?

FirstSpot only works with the PHP package bundled with the FirstSpot installer. Please do not install any PHP separately.
The current version of PHP is 4.x.

What if I want to use the same box to run my organization's sites which require php5 and a newer mysql?
Am I bound by FirstSpot to use the PHP version PatronSoft is commited to?

Yes. We don't recommend to run other applications on the FirstSpot server anyway.
