I was able to log into the the first spot on two different computers on the same password. Is there a way not to allow the use of the same password for two different computers? |

Yes. You can enable user attribute "Bind to first login MAC address". _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

If I wanted to offer a plan such as the following:
2 Mbps for 1 device - $19.95
2 Mbps for 2 devices - $21.95
2 Mbps for 3 devices - $24.95
to an end user, how would binding work or does FirstSpot have this capability? _________________ ----------------------------------------------------------

Currently, FirstSpot username/account can bind to one client MAC address only.
Note that it is necessary for the user to login to FirstSpot first before purchasing at the FirstSpot credit card interface (otherwise, Firstspot won't know which username to credit to). So the current flow doesn't not match your requirements very well. Alternatively, you can let the customer purchase using another system, and then update FirstSpot user attributes through FirstSpot API or ODBC table accordingly (refer to chapter 10 or 5 of firstspot_guide.pdf for details). _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
