Post subject: First login form causing problems for logging in customer.

Hello,

We are facing some anormalities that we would need your aid.

We have a hotspot on a huge area in Sao Paulo SP and some customers are having problems in log-in after they fill the first login form. What happens is: The customer is not logged in after the data is filled.

We have checked out some itens like the PIN code use, and it remains not used.

This problem is happing with a considerable frequency (2 on 4 accesses) and I would like to know what could be done to solve it, given that by the brazilian law we have to store the data from person that used the conection sold by the system.

Any suggestions.

Regards,

Renato

Are you using FirstSpot "Extra Information Fields" feature? Can you describe, in details, how to reproduce your issue?

Thanks Alan,

Yes, we are using the "Extra Information Fields" for collecting the data required from the customers.

We have two distinct kind of users on our store:
Master users(clerk, administrative, management staff) that has a own pin number and don't need to enter extra infos.

Regular users that are the users that buy pins for internet access. The politics of comercialization of the pin is: 1 pin one access.

The user punches the pin on the login page and after he/she has got to put the extra infos ,usind the "Extra Information Fields" issue offered by firstspot.
Well...what happens in a significantly part of the cases is that after the customer punches the pin and fill the form correctly he is not able to continue navigating. He/she is directed to a page that tell that some php Scripts have problems.

Unfortunelly ,i couldn't get a sample of the message that the customer receives and we are chasing for that when the opportunity happens.

Any clue of what could be going on? need more details.

Regards,

Renato

P.S.:in case the is a bug on this issue, i have knowledge on asp.net to produce a page to get these datas. How could it be done?
