Post subject: No IP to client |

| New install of trial software. Install seemed to go fine. Read and followed read me before install. Firstspot starts. Client won't receive IP from server computer. I know NICs are good. Crossover cable is good. I can see a good connection on the NIC lights. I tries a WAP with regular cable and got the same thing. Can't find any prior forum post that deal with this issue. Any ideas where I can start to look? |

Please double-check that you don't have another DHCP server in the same network segment. Also, try to ping FirstSpot Private Network Interface IP (default is 10.20.7.1) from the client PC to confirm that the physical network is working correctly.
If you have still difficulties, please post your firstspot_DHCP_[timestamp].log and firstspot_gw_srv_[timestamp].log file under FirstSpot\log directory for further analysis.
