want to know if FirstSpot works with PepWave APs

Hi,

We plan to use PepWave PolePoint outdoor APs for our deployment and would just like to know if FirstSpot can be compatible with it. Here's a link of the PepWave PolePoint model:

My concerns are the following:
1. From your documentation you mention that FirstSpot works with "vanilla APs" and you just connect the ethernet cable to the LAN port instead of the WAN port of the AP. However the PolePoint only has one ethernet port for backhaul connection. Will it still work with this setup?

2. In the PolePoint AP settings, you can input the RADIUS server IP address, Authentication/Accounting port number, and secret. In this case we plan to use FirstSpot's default ODBC-based tables instead of RADIUS because it will be easier to manage users in the Configuration Manager. Given this, would there be any problems with connecting the AP to the FirstSpot server even if we use ODBC instead of RADIUS?

1. Yes of course. (This AP is a bridge instead of a router)

2. There won't be any problem. Just make you turn off RADIUS in your AP
