Is there anyway to help this part of the process not take 3 minutes? Does it always take this long with everyone?

This will be improved in v5.
But 3 minutes is kind of slow, even in v4. Can you make sure your RRAS service is set to "manual" before FirstSpot is started? _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

It is set for manual. I'm just curious as to why there are consistently a restartRRAS: waiting lock. If this is not normal, I'd like to gain confidence that this is not a symptom of my greater problem. _________________ Greg |

The first time I install FS on the new computer, it loads quickly and without failing the locks on RRAS. After running the program and having it crash the first time, now on reboot it has this symptom. _________________ Greg |

I had a modem driver on the server that was by default and not removed. When FS was installed, for some reason it also installed the FirstHop device driver on that too! I removed the modem driver, and had to reinstrall FS. Fixed the problem. Booting fast now. _________________ Greg |
