Not exactly sure what you mean by "hand out public ip's".
The FirstSpot DHCP scope is determined by Private Network Interface IP and subnet mask. For example, if FirstSpot Private Network IP is 10.20.7.1 and the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, the FirstSpot DHCP Server will hand out 10.20.7.x (without 10.20.7.1 of course since it is already used). _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

What I mean by public IP is "PUBLIC IP" not private ips.
I don't want to nat my customers I want them to get 12.x.x.x not private ips.
So I want to know if the DHCP server can give out PUBLIC IPs instead of private ips?
I am not sure how else to explain this.

I should have understood your requirement in the previous post :-)
Okay, the problem is not really DHCP. It is due to the NAT in the router. Currently (i.e. v2.1), FirstSpot only supports NAT mode. We will support non-NAT router in 3.0. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

We don't have an official date yet. Our current rough estimate is Q3/2004. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
