Hi
Ive read all posts re. MS SQL 2K, but to no avail.
Ive created the dsn as per the manual, tests ok.. but when i goto the users page (or any with dynamic data) and attempt to view the page, i get this error somewhere on the page..
Warning: SQL error: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user 'sa'., SQL state 28000 in SQLConnect in c:\program files\firstspot\cfgmgr\users.php on line 22
connection failed!
I have created a specific account in sql server for the dsn, and its in mixed authentication mode, but would be happy for now if the SA account worked. also checked it connecting via tcp/ip..
My sql server isnt on the same box as FS, but it visible and the dsn maps ok to it.
Im running win2K SP4 on the FS box
MS SQL Server 2K on another machine.
Anythoughts? |

In addition to the DSN setting, is your SQL server itself configured as mixed mode authentication? _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

I have read and applied your suggested solutions but I am having the same problem, I am using the trial version of the latest version (Version 4).
How can I resolve the problem or is Mysql Server the only working solution. |
