Hi
Nowadays we have to use https on websites, is there an easy way to get https on the admin page itself?
Regards

You mean adding https to Configuration Manager?
We will look into it. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Sorry not yet
We probably look into a quick workaround when we have time sometime next week. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

We are starting to work on it. Most likely we will use self-signed certificate (which will trigger a browser warning, but should be sufficient security-wise). _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

We already have a prototype running. This update should be ready by next week. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~

You can download the patch at:
https://patronsoft.com/firstspot/download/patch/81126/cfgmgraccess_ssl.zip
Below are the steps:
1) unzip and copy the php file to the correct directory
2) add the following parameter to the [gateway] section of config.ini
Code: | cfgmgraccess_ssl=on |
3) restart FirstSpot
Now, you can access Configuration Manager using the link : https://localhost:5787 . Note that you need to trust the self-signed cert explicity in order to bypass the browser warning. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Well, you need to upgrade to the latest FirstSpot version first as the Apache version is different. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
