Hi Alan and other moderators
I am looking for an upgrade instruction for Firstspot 7.x to 8.x and all known specials/"to think about"/cavets regarding the upgrade.
Is it avalible?

The instruction is in the chapter 5 of firstspot_guide.pdf. The general idea is that you need to export setting and table data, uninstall/reinstall, and then import. Note that you need to reapply your customization (instead of just copying the files from the old directory).
Couple of things to note:
1) Please test the new v8 in your environment before upgrading
2) Since you have a valid maintenance, you are eligible for the new v8 for free. Please email us at firstspot@patronsoft.com anytime when you need the new v8 license key. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

A littel q to this post.
I have don in V6 and V7 but wen i export all data it never take all the bulk account and my problem i normed have 1500 to 200 bulk at the time?
Can you conferm that the bulk account will export and import?

Bulk Account is just normal username, so it will export if you export from your fsusr table via the Export tools at Configuration Manager -> Users. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
