I had to reboot our FS server today (Windows 2008)
When I tried to log in to check everything was working I was redirected to a page telling me I was already logged in. I can access everything I should (internet, local network) as though I was logged in, but according to Firstspot status page I'm not logged in.
I assume my data/time is not being counted. I believe other users may be able to do the same.
The info box states I'm disconnected.
It seems I can not log in or out.
How is it possible I can access the internet without being logged in? |

I was logged in when I reset the server, on another device which was not logged in during server reset I can log in and out normally. |

First thing to check is make sure there is no alternate path for the client to reach the Internet Network Interface side of Firstspot.
Also, during FirstSpot startup, FirstSpot will clear the "reserved1" field of table fsusr. If somehow this operation fails (which is very very rare), it may confuse FirstSpot about the client login status. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
