We have not yet installed FirstSpot, but the documentation makes it sound like all traffic (5 minute Outlook mail checks, virus/worm port scanning, etc.) will keep the session open. Is that so, or can you customize the ports that it will consider for activity (ie: 8080)?

Only traffic going *through* FirstSpot will be counted, not down to port level though.

So anyone with Outlook Express doing 5 minute checks for e-mail, or Kazaa, or even a port scanning virus running will never timeout? If this is correct, is there anyway (or could there be anyway) to modify this behavior? Do you do custom modifications for a fee?
