Is it possible to have the FirstSpot server offiste? I would like to have it in our colocation facility for easy access. Also, Our WiFi system is many hours from our office, I would like to have the FirstSpot server in a location where it is easier to get to if there is a problem with the hardware.
Thank you. |

If you want to install FirstSpot in your office (i.e. offsite), you need to setup some kind of IP-tunnel (e.g. VPN tunnel) to connect your office with the Wi-Fi visitor network.
Note that even if you install FirstSpot on site, you can use our web-based Configuration Manager to remotely administrator FirstSpot. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

FirstSpot needs to be in the outgoing path of the client acccess, so yes FirstSpot needs to be the gateway of the client visitor network.
Refer to http://patronsoft.com/firstspot/topologies.html for some examples of FirstSpot network setup. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

While reading the pdf on Scenario 3 with VPN, I read that you are available to help configure the system and see that it gets off the ground and running smoothly. Can you tell me where to look to see pricing for these services?
Thank you. |

You can just purchase the license with maintenance. We will help you to configure the VPN in this case. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

We are more familiar with DD-WRT router. See http://patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1338 for an article on how to configure non-split tunnel for DD-WRT router. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
