As requested I deleted the partitions on the hard drive and started from scratch.
Installed Win XP Pro Ver 2002 SP2
Disabled Windows Update During Initial startup
Verified TCP/IP is working

Okay, I will reinstall XP and follow the steps you have outlined.
I have paid for First Spot. I just did not copy the licence to the most recent install.

The 4.0.4 install went without problems. Just follwed the procedure outlined in the install readme file. It just worked.

Same Error, I did the UnInstall and double checked both the "Services" and the entire hard disk for anything relating to Apache or FirstSpot and found nothing. |
